With the anticipation of returning to school after the holidays, along with general life stressors, kids will relax and “defrost” as they learn up to 125 ways to manage worries. Much like when Frosty realized the sun was getting hot and he had to strategize, we will learn to hear our personal warnings “sirens” too. It is always best to thumpity-thump away before our stressors go from onset to peak. Class will culminate with a celebration of our new skills by making a batch of homemade science snow that kids can keep. We will also enjoy designing a Frosty the Snowman treat.
