Youth Sports Instructor (18 years+)
The Grayslake Park District is seeking a fun and energetic employee to lead and run after-school athletic programs. The athletics include t-ball, baseball, soccer, basketball, dodgeball, and volleyball. A general knowledge of all sports is a plus. This job is great for a college student interested in sports and/or teaching children because it can potentially cover practicum and clinical hours and/or can be a paid part-time job, since the hours are very limited each week. Preschool Substitute Teacher (21 years+)
The Preschool Substitute Teacher will fill in at I Love Learning Preschool during planned vacations and must also have a flexible schedule and be available on short notice. Each classroom has two teachers, so there will always be a full-time teacher present to lead activities. Under the supervision of a Recreation Supervisor, the Substitute Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating an environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of participants in the classes in which he/she subs. Dance Instructor (21 years+)
The Grayslake Park District Expressions Dance Studio is looking for a talented dance instructor with at least 2 years teaching experience.
