Age: 7 – 12 years
Based on the story by Trinka Hakes Noble, Rancher Hicks lives out west where nothing much ever happens. He heads to town one while his wife Elna stays behind. Nothing much is new in town… but meanwhile back at the ranch, exciting things are happening from the cat having kittens to Elna winning a new refrigerator to a winning lottery ticket being sent to her. A variety of zany characters round out this fun play. We’ll become familiar with the original story and create our own scenery. Parents/caregivers and siblings will be invited back at 11:40am to watch our performance! Please bring a snack and water bottle.
