The follow up from this summer’s prison tour we are offering the Haunted History of Old Joliet Prison. This historical tour will cover some of the more macabre stories as you walk through the site at dusk. This tour takes you into the East and West Cell Houses, North Segregation, Cafeteria, Chapel and the Honor Dorm. This tour does not involve ghost hunting or paranormal activity. Pathways are light for safety but guests are welcome to bring a flashlight for additional lighting if needed. We will enjoy a family style dinner at Mamma Onesta’s Italian Restaurant in Lockport before our tour at the prison. Trip includes: transportation by Park District Bus, dinner and 90-minute tour. Extensive walking and standing.
