Age: 7 – 12 years
This class teaches children basic rules and information for responsible self-care. Students will learn how to enter their home safely, what to do when somebody knocks on the door, important phone numbers, how to answer the phone, what to do when approached by a stranger, safety precautions that will help prevent injuries and fires and what to do in case of an emergency. We’ll also stress the importance of following the rules and communication with parents/guardians. Students will receive an activity book and a certificate of completion and an informational hand out for parents. This is a contractual program.
